    His height took him off some team’s draft boards entirely I don’t see how he could be worth anything. There’s no upside. He can’t be a scout team QB either because he doesn’t represent the prototype of any successful QB that has ever played.

    I think Bryce is a tiny bit smarter but way less physically capable and I think even more panicky.

    More than likely not. There’s no reason to take a chance on someone with such physical limitations.

    Nothing matters until next year really. He’s done. It’s about evaluating how Canales deals with having a lame duck bust of a QB and keeps building the team.

    I assume it’s nice to have at least one disaster of a team per conference. They really blew it approving Tepper. I hope they never approve an owner with no ties to the state. I still can’t believe they tried to trade for Watson.

    I think he’s a smart, hardworking and high character guy. He’s just not good enough.

    I feel like these kinds of games never end up going that way. The team would be just as comfortable up 3 TDs as they would be 6.

    Yeah I think you have to weigh being terrible vs developing other players and building some kind of culture. It’s gotta be Dalton, I don’t want to be the worst team in the league two years in a row.

    Just happy to trend up. I don’t think Bryce is the answer but maybe Canales can prove to be and the team can look better and better.

    I think I recall the stories of Fox inheriting the 1-15 team and basically saying they were weak and got run over. Was motivating enough.

    Neat! the cranky part of me wants to say 7/103 random players said Bryce isn’t the worst QB in the league and it means less than nothing. but hopefully it’s a sign of things to come as Bryce becomes a SB caliber QB

    Was he an 03 or 04 rookie? I feel like smith referred to him(not by name) in his podcast as a guy who’s heart wasn’t in it

    Feels good to have any reason to be excited. If they had sucked I would have had zero hope this season. The team has been so bad and fans need something.
