I like the experience being brought in but it honestly doesn’t mean a ton if they aren’t on the same page and competent. Time will tell if all this experience pays dividends.

I personally am rooting for Fields but he’s shown nothing to indicate he’s worth a top 10 pick.

Of all the options I think trading up for a rookie is the most reasonable. I still would rather not do it but you can’t fault them if they think that’s the way forward. Trading draft picks for a current QB making tens of millions that might not even work out is a bad bad bad idea. No guarantee Rogers or Jackson would be good here.

We’re just not in a spot to give up a lot of draft capital IMO. The team isn’t a QB away and also isn’t going to get blown up. Outside of a very good deal it just seems like a bad idea.

Not sure if it would matter after the fact or not. I don’t know much about the lawsuit.

Eagles fans are obnoxious as hell so seeing them win always sucks. But I’d be happy for Bradberry. It’s nice to see Reid cement his legacy, especially against his former team. overall I lean Chiefs.

I hate to do it but it’s been pretty miserable seeing so many excellent 1st round picks never get a SuperBowl due to having a below average QB.

Also I think Jake’s injury was also a bit related to his throwing motion being sidearm. I feel like it might have worn him out a lot faster. I don’t know many QBs that needed the baseball pitcher surgery.

100% I’m on board with getting a QB I’m just nervous about giving him a rookie QB plus a lack of 1st round picks for his first two years. I really hope we stay put but that’s mostly because my formative fan years were with Fox/Hurney.

It’s going to get a lot worse in the lead up to the draft. He has the highest ceiling. People will have him as #1 in some mocks no doubt. I wouldn’t object to him at 9 but truthfully I’m just not feeling the QBs this draft. Stroud isn’t bad but I still don’t want to trade up.

Also Cam is(hopefully) pretty wealthy and has like 600 kids so I can imagine he’s focused on that plus his private ventures.

Even in his rookie season I think he had some rest days for soreness. I think it was just fate, his throwing motion plus some of the hard falls/hits he took on it. Genetics, who knows. He never truly improved his lower body mechanics because he didn’t have to. I wonder if his shoulder have held up longer if he threw more the way pundits said he should.

Yeah none of these QBs feel like a sure thing so I’d rather try out Richardson.

Yeah I’m surprised how salty people are about it. I felt like when we signed him we always knew it was going to be a 1yr rental.

I guess the team just doesn’t really feel like it’s at the beginning of a rookie QB window for me. There are all kinds of ways to succeed and if Reich is a good coach it’ll work out regardless. I guess I’m just having a hard time thinking about when trading up into the top 5 of the draft has worked out at all. If the cost is 1-2 future first rounders I think that really hamstrings a team.

It’s a huge gamble to trade up this year but whatever happens happens.

All of it is common sense, trying to play field position ball with Tom Brady without your best corner is what sealed it. Not even sure if Rivera/Fox would have been that conservative.

The drum is like a great bite of lean meat and then working my way around that knobbily stuff. the flats just seem to all be edible whether it’s skin or cartilage or meat. When it’s cooked just right you can get all the bones out and it’s satisfying like perfectly shelling a crab leg.

Yeah 2 years ago I was able to draft Horn and Surtain back to back with all the trades I was doing. Needs stricter logic.

Honestly doesn’t seem like a good time to be aggressive in FA/draft with a new coach but who knows.
