The Fearsome 4s

Recommended Posts

Here in Charlotte North Carolina we've grown to fear the 2nd round. We have a rich tradition of mediocrity and busts that would make Playboy blush.

Ryan Kalil, Richard Marshall, Deon Grant, Kris Jenkins, Mike Rucker, Mike Minter, and Muhsin Muhammad were all worthy of being our number 2s.

You could argue we did better in the 7th than the 4th with picks like Chad Cota, Kris Mangum, Lester Towns, Michael Gaines, Will Montgomery, Mackenzy Bernadeau, Geoff Schwartz, Captain Munnerlyn, and Robert McClain

So I present to you the fearsome 4s:

1995: Frank Garcia, this is starting well

1996: Noberto Davidds-Garrido, didn't he knock out Kerry Collins in a bar?

1997: Tarek Saleh, Sawho?

1998: Donald Hayes, one of my favorites that never amounted to anything

1999: Hannibal Navies, lasted 8 years in the NFL, best season in 2003 recorded 69 tackles

2000: Alvin McKinley. played 9 games for the Panthers

2001: Chris Weinke, lost 15 games his rookie season yet managed to hang around longer than Clausen

2002: Dante Wesley, Special teams lifer, fan favorite at times, nearly killed a man that signaled fair catch

2003: Colin Branch, spent three years in Carolina, spent zero years with the other 31 teams

2004: 4th traded away

2005: THE Stefan Lefors, this list should be called the Lefours

2006: Nate Salley, Wasn't he on the best damned sports show anywhere?

2007: Ryne Robinson, being Joe Adams before it was cool

2008: 4th Traded away

2009: Mike Goodson, Best known for building then occupying Rivera's Doghouse

2009:Tony Fiammetta, never made an impact, Jerry Jones scooped him up. Enough said.

2010: Eric Norwood, chosen 9 picks ahead of Kam Chancelor, 51 ahead of Greg Hardy, Currently starring for the Hamilton Tiger Cats

2011: Brandon Hogan, Never got his life together, wasted talent

2012: Frank Alexander, decent backup, spent time in the house that Mike built

2012: Joe Adams, lasted one year, best known for losing his job to Armanti Edwards

2013: Edmund Kugbilla, our next great hope in Lefourth round, may the 4th be with you Jabba

If I recall correctly, it was Muhsin Muhammad who decked Collins.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
