Are JStew and DWill 1st Rounders in the modern NFL Draft?

Well they were both better coming out of college than any of the RBs in this draft.  I'd guess 2nd.

Deangelo was barely a 1st rounder when we drafted him so I would say no.  Stewart would be a borderline 1st/2nd rounder these days, IMO.

Stewie can't stay healthy and had a injury issue in college, so i'd say he would be a 5th in newer, modern draft

what makes you think it will come back around? the league is changing mostly because of health concerns. there's no chance they go back to the style of play that made RBs a hot commodity.

If a back comes out of college who is good at these three things: pass-protection, catching, and running.... then yeah, they still have a shot at the first round.

even under those conditions, had carolina passed on him, he was never going to make it out of the first round in 2008. he would easily be a 2-3 rounder in 2014.

in this draft, williams would be a 3 round or later.
