WFNZ Tryouts

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

The search to replace Captain Douchebag started today with tryouts by Bill Voth and former Steelers kicker Jeff Reed.

Voth did pretty good from what I was able to hear. Reed was beyond awful. I'd rather saw my ears off than have to listen to him again.

Anyone else listen?

I turned it off when Reed started talking about how great Steeler fans are and that ass hat Steeler Mark called in. Reed said Panther fans are at games because it's an event but Steeler fans are diehard. We all know Panther fans suck but I don't need to hear two Steeler assholes wax poetic about it on a radio station in my town 700 miles away from that steel producing shithole. Both also brought up the point about opposing fans taking over BofA. Reed said Steeler fans are everywhere but BofA is dominated more than any other stadium. That's when I had to turn on the kids music.

It was damn near un-listenable....and yes I just made up that word.  Reed is hot garbage...made me want to insert screwdrivers into my ears.  730 AM sounded like angels singing on high.  Horton was on and everything.

FNZ gets their poo together or there will be a new sheriff in the QC.

Hell, give the slot to Kilgo if you can't get Gross to take it.

I thought Voth was good.

I thought Voth was good.

Someone...ANYONE should have saved all of that dead air.  Voth listened to it just like I did.

I gotta have my local fix on all things Panthers/Hornets/ACC from 8 to 5 in addition to my drive to and from work.

I don't think the guy we are looking for is already on the roster.......nor did he have a workout today.

Wonder what that arrogant, stuck-up, self-serving, asshole Packer is up to?

And I edited this post...please see below for proof.

    • Yeah lol well the interest isn’t really about seeking stimulation.  I wanted to see how actually bad it was.  And how much of it was women setting him up to be their cash cow.  That is the stuff that leveraged the Panthers into David Tepper’s hands. It is important in that sense.     The worst that I have heard is that he got them in the car and clumsily reached across to help them with their seat belt and made contact. With his arm. That was probably his big slick move. And I can almost guarantee he wasn’t rejected every time. It is easy to picture that action bringing his head close enough to the woman’s head to where he could go in for the kiss if he thought he got the green light.    I really don’t care if JR was a horn dog. We heard all our lives up until the last few years that one of the perks of being really old is that you can flirt with the young women and it is not just tolerated but expected. So he was keeping a tradition alive at some point 😂
    • Well I rubbed some dirt on it and am still here just not optimistic about the future of the QB position. Even what I had accepted as a ceiling raised to an acceptable level turned out to be a bit of a mirage, upon rewatch of the WC game.  Good plays were there yes, but some pretty bad ones too that the good ones late in the game kind of obscured. I have to downgrade that a little.  Especially after rewatching the last 4 plays. I remember the arguments about he did his job the WRs didn’t but that was really just that last muff by Coker I think it was on our final offensive play.   To the future: I know what my level is for paying him and recommitting, but I don’t have any confidence that the team shares my high bar.    But thanks for the pep talk
