Just me, but I generally don't haunt someone who has turned things around for the rest of their lives because they made some mistakes.

You can tell someone's character when they keep bringing up poo like that just to make a flawed point.

I'm haunting no one, but to think that SS is easy to get along with is foolish.

I love his fire, but not everyone does/will.

I know, I know this is forbidden talk around here but....I can only help but think how well we'd be at WR with Steve.

We finally draft that big body in the first and he's gone (besides Jarrett/Colbert in the Second). I would've loved to see Smitty groom him.

'Tis life.

"Smitty groom him" really?????

Last time steve made it to the pro bowl, he bought tickets for all the WRs to go to hawaii with him because he said it was a team effort and he wouldn't have made it if it weren't for the other guys clearing space for him to work.

So everyone can shut up about steve not being a good teammate right meow. He is getting up in age, he wasn't used to the best of his abilities last year, and Gettleman wanted Luke and Cam to step up and be leaders That's why he is gone.

What about the 3 teammates that he sucker punched???? Mmmmmmmm nice guy huh!

haha yep exactly that.  Many may forget, throughout all of the escapades that he had here, he began to state that all he wanted was a legit number 1 WR opposite of him, so that he could move into a lesser role (to improve his role.)  Looking at many pictures and the way that he got along with Lafell I would have to differ from common perception.  Though Lafell was not great apparently Steve saw a drive in him that we did not know of, and petitioned for us to keep him.  You see Steve often "grooming" Cam, even at the end of the SF game.  I see no reason he wouldn't do it for a rookie that can make his job easier. Obviously not the best with emotion ever, but I think he'd have been a good WR for KB to have around, if only for performance reasons.

I think many here are doing the opposite of seeing through rose colored glasses.
