Hello from Buffalo

I am currently in downtown buffalo.

I have decided to purge every loss from last season in a ritual at the opposition stadium.

However, I have yet to decide on what said ritual should be.

Thoughts?

My thought is that you need to drive about 20 minutes south of your current location to Orchard Park , New York, if you want to find the Bills stadium.

Well, there are many things you can do and if you really do go to the stadium I could recommend a few folks to get ahold of that would probably enjoy showing you around or sharing a beer and talking football.  One of them has the lot by the stadium, where Pinto Kenny does his ketchup and mustard event.  Others just live up there.

Find a Garbage Plate @ Nick Tahou's

Skip the Anchor Bar, way overrated.

Tomorrow is Friday and if you're around then you can find some small town near Lake Huron and enjoy all you can eat fried fish.

The area is beautiful, you had some good storms today, though, enjoy it.  It's not much different then NC.

Also.. If u ever can do the ferry ride to the bottom of Niagara Falls, do it. One of the few times movies don't do it justice.

Did you go down river to the whirlpool?  Freaking crazier then the Falls.  The river does almost a 300 loop back under itself.

Also, Gennessee Creamy Ale is worth trying.

Beef on weck is very good.  Also the last W in the real BW3's.  Buffalo Wild Wings and Wecks.  It was dropped when the chain grew.

Again, Garbage plate.

    • I agree, but I've already said that the players will definitely take more money up front because it's more security. But they want more guaranteed money and NFL FOs don't want to do that for several and various reasons, and that's what's at issue.  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-second-round-rookies-finally-starting-to-sign-what-took-so-long-and-what-it-means-for-future-contracts/ It's a tug of war between teams and players, and, sure, paying a player a signing bonus may satisfy them, especially if--and sometimes "only if"--it ultimately leads to a guarantee of more of their contract, but the teams are on the hook for all of those guarantees when cap time comes, so if they guarantee more money, they're ultimately losing the contract game.
    • TBH, these are the kind of players that get weeded out of professional sports pretty quickly. Also, CMC is not that guy. There is zero indication that he isn't competitive.
    • I like the free agency. It actually helps basically all schools across the board. Pretty much only ancient HC's and/or HC's that haven't been able to adjust have been complaining about the free agency. Your fortunes can be made or broken every offseason. It's not like before where a bad recruiting class or two meant multiyear purgatory.  I will never understand all the bellyaching about the NIL. If you want to talk about what ruined college athletics, it has been naked greed. Conference expansions for TV revenue, ever skyrocketing AD and facilities costs and now the attempts to permanently ruin the postseasons(football and basketball).  All the kids did was get a very well deserved piece of a very, very, VERY broken pie.
