He's not much bigger than Captain. Don't care to see another guy getting manhandled and laughed at.

Captain was a damn good nickel CB. Not his fault we sucked so bad we asked him to cover #1 WRs on the outside

Captain was underrated by a lot of Panthers fans in almost every way possible. Complete crap that we make him the scape goat when there was a lot more blame to go around. Such as being forced to play cover 3 all of 2012.

I mean I'm a hokie alum and love them in the NFL but it was more than a scheme change imo.  He didn't seem up to snuff more than just occasionally last year.  That being said, I'd want him here but if you look at our roster, nearly the entire secondary is above 6'

Why do teams like the Falcons prefer to build from the outside in,  instead of from the inside out?       They always seem a little more worried about their secondary than their front 7 over the last few years.   While their front 7 is one of the worst in the NFL.

 

Dimitroff is obsessed with skill positions.

I hope the falcons sign him for a buttload of money. he's good, but not as good as the chiefs were paying him (which is why he got cut of course).

 

keep signing WRs and Cornerbacks and neglect the lines.

      Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!

      Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
