To show my age, I wrote a paper in college about the whole problem with the NBA and salaries and free agency when Alonzo broke our hearts and went to Miami.  And how Shinn created the mess by giving that massive contract to LJ in the first place.

 

I think I got a shitty grade on that paper, professor was a hippie that couldn't have given a fug about pro sports.
