Was scrolling through my FB news feed and saw ESPN poll on who would lead the league in tackles between bowman, kuechly, lb from cinci, and lavonte david.

Kuechly seemed to be the most favored scrolling through the comments. EFFF yea, eat POOH niner fans!!!

By the way, cool story right?! Carry on.

He is a household name. He makes every woman swoon every time they even think of football.

My wife and I met him on the street in Charlotte after a Knights game recently and she hasn't been the same since that moment.

Edited to quench SigChi's undying thirst for proper grammar.

You ended your sentence with a preposition.

Granted, my wife may have flipped the bean right there in the street if she met Kuechly in person but, the preposition.

The guy won Defensive Player of the Year in his second year in the league. He is a household name and will soon become legendary and solidify himself amongst the greats to play the position.

Some still feel that Willis/Bowman are superior... But Willis is getting older while Luke has yet to reach his prime. Luke is going to be downright dominant in every facet of the position by the time he's in his 4-5 year and I'm going to love every minute of it.

I've said it before there is only one thing Willis is better than Luke at and that's making Visa commercials. I love how Luke is just so humble and shows how good he is on the field as opposed to talking about it. Come to think of it Luke would make a horrible rapper.

Didn't he sign a deal with Old Spice?

He brings an old school swag to the MLB position... people find it refreshing.

I understand your point but I would argue its exactly the opposite. Can't describe it accurately but Kuechly has "anti swag". Unassuming and quietly goes to work. I think we are saying the same thing but expressing it differently.

    • Jeremy Fowler draft intel on the Panthers: “Carolina was high on Proctor. If he somehow slipped to 19, he was a viable option.” “Caleb Lomu was on the Panthers short list too.” “Panthers weren’t totally comfortable with Stowers there at 49.”   https://x.com/panthersontap/status/2049827264972353727?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
