He started at LT and OG, and he played both postions well. It's a shame that I'll remember him tripping in the SF game the most, but he can retire knowing he did a great job overall.

Its fitting that Travelle and Gross are both neighbors and friends.  Two good guys and great ambassadors for the game.  Wharton seems to be the quieter one of the two but in interviews and on the radio I did find him to be engaging.  Hope he pops up from time to time on some of the talk shows as I think he will have an excellent perspective on the game.

 

Not nearly the fanfare you deserve but FTW  Travelle Wharton.
