Did anyone notice how he looked last night? I know everyone was super focused on Benji and Ealy. But I'm curious how Turner looked, I'm just as excited about him as the other 2. Kid could end up being the biggest road grader on the right side we've had since Otah left.

Well im about to rewatch the game but I know there were times where he got beat. I believe it was his man with the initial pressure on the blanchard fumble

our run game on offense, even with the 1sts in, seemed to struggle as a whole. perhaps this isnt directly indicative of turner's play though...

He looked really good at times but had a few mistakes. The kid just turned 21 and he was playing his first NFL snaps, I think all that considered he did well and is going to be a beast.

He looked like a rookie learning the game. He got beat a few times in pass coverage and wasn't able to create much room in the running game. He never slowed down though and always seemed to finish the play.

Didnt watch Turner but my impressions of the O line are solid, the pocket seemed to collapse fast around DA but our line did well in making sure none of the defenders got to DA

Buff was def a good test for our line. They are very deep at Dline depth

This.  He is going to be special.  I did not notice a lot of movement by the Guards last night--hard to run without pulling etc.  Maybe I just didnt see it, but it looked vanilla from my couch.

I am not  someone that could overly critique his play but for the most part I thought he looked good.  There may have been some performances that  he could have done better but those things will come in time.  I do think that the coaches will take advantage of the preseason to get him as many reps as possible so he can be exposed.  At this point I think time will be his greatest teacher.

Loved what I saw. Think he could be a longtime solid panther. 21 years old on your first big league game with a new team. Believe he will learn a lot and become something we need on the line.

Very excited about the interior of our line for years to come with Amini, Kalil and Turner. Just needs to get better and tackle and add better depth

It was about what I expected from his debut.

 

We cannot forget that this was the FIRST game Ever for this group.  Silatolu was out last year, Chanlder and Turner are new, Bell is on a different side and Kalil has to hold this group together.  We have to remember this is unit.  They function as one not as 5 individuals.  You are going to have some issues after the first pre-season game.  The only thing we can hope for is to improve before September  7th.
