It's not that rare. I was expecting all the cuts to be announced tomorrow. Probably most right at 4pm

Look at the cuts from earlier this week. Most, if not all, had their cuts in a day early.

Panthers must get from 75 to 53 by 6 pm tomorrow. I get the sense cuts will roll in earlier rather than later

I think we know most of the usual suspects. My main questionable battle is between Norwell and Velasco at guard. Thoughts?

 

Velasco plays center too, and Norwell is PS eligible.  He looked good vs. Pitt, however.

Just saw where Armanti Edwards was cut by Chicago today. That makes 3 NFL teams in 5 years time: Carolina, Cleveland, and Chicago. Another draft pick Marty pissed away... I think we've all known that for a while now though.

It seems we will keep Godfrey if Boston and Lester go on IR. I think Godfrey will get better as the season goes by. I don't think he's fully healed from the injury. I hope he can return to his original form. He would be a great back up for us if healthy.
