joe person is reporting Lester is on the practice squad.

How, when Lester played in 12 games last year..

New 2014 rule from the NFL

....

"Each club will be permitted to sign a maximum of two Practice Squad players who have earned no more than two accrued seasons of free agency credit. "

didn't practice squad eligibility change this season? does that make a difference with lester at all? even then, not much point to putting him on the practice squad. panthers are well aware of his abilities. he looked worse this preseason than he did last season.

Sorry it was Florence we cut him at final cuts then brought him back after the Bills game.

We needed a veteran that knew what the fug he was doing. Lester is not that. Would not be surprised if we picked him back up if we can't find anyone better though. But we are going to look for a better option because gettleman aint no dumb dumb

I understand that but Lester is young and still has a lot of upside. He was good in coverage last year the few games that he started. Yes he's looked terrible this offseason but he can still improve.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
