I can't imagine moving forward without some type of offensive changes; what do you think happens?

Let's get one thing straight here, our offense IS NOT supposed to win us games. If our d played like it normally does/was supposed to we would've won that game with 19 points. Cam and the receivers did their job. Oline sucked more then usually. Brown had one mistake, a big one, but again if our d showed up it wouldn'tve mattered. Kalil also sucked which surprised me. It was just one of those games. I hope no one thought we were gonna be undefeated this season. Cam is still playing injured too

Ideally he's the thing our offense needs:

A quality LT (Gross)

A quality RT

More Experience at RG

A WR who can take the top off the defense

But what the fug happened to our defense last night?

We looked like the 2012 Saints

-I think Bersein and Philly will continue to get reps at WR, especially Philly..we need his speed

-Hopefully, Swole will get activated and get some playing time

-Also, I hope J-Stew is alright as well. He played well despite of...

-Trai Turner needs to be either be officially benched or become a full-time starter.  I would suggest starting...as bad as Turner...and Bell and Silatolu AND Chandler have been...our line needs cohesiveness for this season and the future.  We'll just have to go through our lumps and struggles this year...particularly, our run game sucking.

From that list, I'd want ANY of the following players over Bell:

12. David Stewart

13. Bryant McKinnie

14. Ryan Harris

15. Eric Winston

17. Will Svitek

18. J'Marcus Webb

19. Tyson Clabo

20. Mike Otto

21. Sean Locklear

22. Tony Pashos

Yes, even old, morbidly obese or simply not good players like Clabo, McKinnie or Webb I would take over Bell.  Some of the other guys I haven't even heard of (Pashos, Otto) but they CAN'T be as bad as Bell.  They simply can't.

    • More praise of Renfrow from Tim Weaver (formerly of USA Today's Panthers Wire, now SI.com), and also what I told some of you, my Huddle friends, from the start: keep it all in perspective, and don't conveniently---and perhaps unfairly, discount and label Renfrow as a JAG when it was a very debilitating illness affecting his play.    "It's understandable to be skeptical about Renfrow's abilities at this late point in his career. After all, he missed all of last season due to a bout of ulcerative colitis that also took a serious toll on his production in 2022 and 2023."   When Renfrow is healthy, he's an above average guy. Being 29 may hurt or help his chances depending upon perspective, but 29 for receivers generally means that there's still (sometimes plenty) gas in the tank. Renfrow also obviously has plenty of motivation and has come with his game face.   "Then agan, seeing is believing and by all accounts Renfrow has been very impressive since joining the Panthers a few months ago... Where Renfrow will fit in Carolina's new-look receiver corps remains to be seen, but at this rate it's going to be hard to exclude him from the initial 53-man roster." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/hunter-renfrow-sick-route-panthers-training-camp Read the room, ladies and gentlemen. And don't get it twisted; Renfrow isn't the most talented receiver on the team, but we have seen his ceiling, when healthy, in a Raiders offense that wasn't necessary replete with talent. Consider what he can do, especially in the slot, in a Panthers offense primed with young talent (no pun intended). From sick to "sick routes," eh.
    • That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp.  I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.
