How far are we from a Superbowl push?

For some reason, what Steve Smith said post game really struck me. Do we have that superbowl mentality as a franchise? I fee like if we did, our guys will be playing with more heart and some form of swagger.

I think he said nothing really and he is fooling himself if he thinks the Ravens will win another while he is still playing.

I think we're a bit away, especially given Ron's ability to not get his team up in time for primetime games and considering we never can win after an off week.

Last year, I would've said not far at all, but this year...with no pass rush, d-line giving up 150+ a game, missed taklles, o-line giving up constant QB pressure, o-line not creating any running lanes...I'd say a year or two with the right draft, the right resignings and the right FA pickups.

Too many holes on Oline and secondary.

Once we get out of "cap hell" we should be able to actually sign decent free agents.

The cap hell we are currently in should be ending soon but I feel we are at least two years away from having a team that could make big waves in the playoffs.. If this should happen, then our chances would be as good the other teams in the p[layoffs..

You know how difficult it is to even get to a Super Bowl? Unless you're a one hit wonder, it takes an elite team. We can be a one hit wonder every year ... but we are far, far from being elite.

The Panthers have the NFL shield on the 50 yard line. The entire Hardy situation was handled terribly. It will be hard to win a superbowl when the team cares more about the NFL than it does itself.
