You learn tricks of the trade from the Vets.  Kinda hard when there aren't any vets to learn from.

 

Johnson has been playing with pure heart and an injury that is keeping him from being dominate like he can be.   Secondly, missing Hardy as not helped his growth.   Your top three DE are either suspended, out on some sort of personal leave, and unable to lead by example due to an injury.   Now all he has is tape and Coach Washington trying to show him.

 

Ealy is going to be good, he'll grow into the position and many of you will be eating crow.

So true.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks should make an impact for their team as a starter or reserve in year one. Developmental players are 4th through 7th rounds.

Ealy is a waste of a second round pick. There is a reason he was falling and the Panthers scouting department failed to see it. He was a 4th/5th round talent the Panthers picked in the 2nd round.

You sir are crazy.

Every 1-3 round pick will not not should not be an immediate impact.

It just does not work that way.

      "by name"?  You mean they are letting him say he is retiring or stepping down? That's even more embarrassing than being fired (he basically quit) and so transparently false that the media will kill him and this university.  If this happens, I may just turn full fledge to an SMU fan since I live in Dallas now. I'm just about sick of this university's approach to basketball and football.
