1st- cams not going anywhere no matter what, he has absolutely no leverage, we can exercise his option, then franchise him, he's stuck stop saying he'll leave us.

2nd-we just played against a very potent offense with an entire un drafted line bar Kalil

3rd- somehow were still in the post season race

I'm on board for both Rivera and Shula to go,sick of Ron's emotionless crap, win or loss he doesn't care. Shula is absolute garbage....but this game is on cam. I feel he needs to hang out with favre, he throws the ball too hard just like favre did. He needs to get that crap under control.

Good news, our running game played well at times. Our line is so young they can grow together. Throw in one speed receiver with Olsen and Benjamin n we have a hell of a receiving core.

Suck it up, quit your complaining and tough it out.

And we lost on my birthday and I'm drunk.

Nah you know what. No more of this rah rah stuff. That was our season. Tonight was our chance to punch the only team competing with us in our division in the mouth on national TV and we laid an egg yet again.

This coaching staff has no idea what they're doing. McDermott is the only half-smart coordinator we have. Rivera comes out and gives the same blanket answers in every press conference and continues to throw his players under the bus and fails to admit the playcalling is questionable at best.

Who wants to play for a guy like that? Who wants to root for a guy like that?

Don't get me wrong, I hope we come out of this and make something happen but I refuse to get my hopes up again for this team this season just to watch it be squandered away week after week. As far as I know, our season is over and I'm looking onto the draft. Go Hornets,

Rivera wasn't as emotionless tonight. He looked desperate as the second half started and I've been able to pick up on his stoic glances after certain situations. The look after halftime told me how that conversation went and it wasn't pretty. We need a quarterback coach as an offensive coordinator, and not the son of a legend who got to where he is because of that legacy.

Hell we should've been looking for a new OC after the playoff loss. The message just isn't getting to ownership whatsoever it seems. =

This one here cracks me up. This is the same site with numerous threads bashing teams like NO or the Browns or whoever, then we lose to them and all the sudden it's "ohh but yea they have a potent this or bla bla happened".

NOW the Saints are good and poo because they beat US...yea...right....

Truth is we suck and it's not being negative it's being real...3-5-1 is gabbage.

Find a place where I said the saints are trash. You won't cause I'm not some blind idiot like the majority of people here who one week go, "the season is over", then next week say "this is the best we've been".

    • I think he did a solid job.  Honestly I liked his post game interview the best.  He gave himself a C and said he left a lot out on the field.  That kind of attitude can carry him far.
    • This is lacking a fairly considerable amount of context. For one, Adams(age 22) started 12 of 16 games, had 38 rec, 446 yds and 3 TD's on 66 targets(18 less, with 2 less games started). The main thing missing here is that the top two WR's for Green Bay that year combined for about 2800 yds and 25 TD's. Now if you want to throw a more accurate dart at Adams, take a look at year two. This year the production was spread around considerably and Adams didn't stand out from that pack(pun not intended).  So, if XL struggles mightily this season, I would probably keep that comparison in your quiver to counter argue. I would suggest that I don't think that scenario is probably very accurate for most HOF caliber WR's taken in the first round over the past 15 or so years. Adams was the 89th pick overall, as well. A little different hill to climb than XL, although not massively.
    • to clarify I am not referring to Will Levis.  Not knowingly.   I just made that up and tried to use a reasonable guesstimate of what else was done.  That sounded in the ballpark.  At one time I did look it all up and there were several teams that had much more successful days downfield.   If that happened to be Levis' actual numbers than it's more of a lucky coincidence.  If memory serves, it wasn't just Will Levis that brought the claim into question, it was SEVERAL teams had better days.  and you are missing my entire point of the subjective nature of it all.  If PFF employee Doug watched Bryce's film and then used his same unique subjective vantage point to grade all 31 other starting QBs.  Then dumped into into a spread sheet, it would a subjective Doug take but at least it would be a level uniform subjectivity.   The grades are done by various people.  All watching and applying their own subjective view to a play.  Everyone isn't going to grade incompletions out the same.  Or completions.   So when you dump it all into a spread sheet and hit sort.....it's not actually a statement of fact as portrayed.  Which is why you sometimes get some head scratching stuff.  I'm not reframing anything.   I don't think.  I just wasn't going to look it all back up so I was talking vaguely off the general issue I have with PFF and treating any random claim they make as the truth.
