Last year we were all excited about the potential of making the playoffs. This year we're excited about a possible high draft pick. It's amazing what a difference a year can make. When it's all said and done, that tie with Cincinnati might haunt us by hurting our draft position. Many of us thought it would help us get into the playoffs ala green Bay last season. Lol

All I'm thinking about is going 10-5-1.

I'm trying to stay optimistic, anyway. I see us finishing around 6-9-1, with the way we're playing right now and the OC we have. Unless something changes drastically, we're basically screwed. Can't score points with the offense that we've put on the field. Apart from the OL (which can't be helped due to injuries), I don't think our offense is bad due to personnel. That's the worse part.

A list of top 10 OT's this decade is nothing but a bust factory anyway. Win as many as we can, let the chips fall where they may, and get the BPA wherever we pick. PJ Williams or Ifo Ekpre-Olomu should be right in our wheelhouse. We need veteran OL in FA anyway and can continue to beef up the trenches in round 2 onward. My early best guess/opinion.

It takes some kind of coaching talent and GM ship to neuter Newton and they have done it

The Panthers no longer know what they can do, who can help them do it, and who they do it for.
