This season is the best of both worlds.

We get to watch meaningful football all year. Even if we lose we only improve our chances at picking in the top five.

 

Nah. Best of both worlds is us having a season like last year, with the division the way it currently is.

 

And having traded a pick to Oakland for their first round pick.  Now THAT would be the best of both worlds.

I don't think that is an argument you would win.  I realize we think we are more talented, but I don't think the more objective observers outside of our fanbase do.  We are talented along the defensive line (if Hardy is back), and at linebacker, and we have one or two other areas we have some talented individual players, but all in all, I think our talent, especially on the offensive side is below that of the Falcons and Saints.   Our qb is midlevel NFL, our receiver group doesn't scare anyone, our running backs are older or injured a lot, our offense line is terrible, and our secondary has been pretty bad this year.

longest losing streak, blown out in most losses, abysmal offense, deeply flawed defense, and easily the playcalling and philosophy in the division.

I don't know about most talented. We have a few good players but that's it.

Offense its Saints and Falcons then us. Def its well I don't know.

      When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.

      Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.

      Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
