I hate flying...

I've only flown on a Chinook (CH-47, the Army's version) twice and both were pretty uneventful. But Blackhawk pilots love aggressive climbs and nose dives for no reason other than to mess with people. I like it... during the climb, you compress into your seat, then you immediately go weightless during the nose dive. Flying nap of the earth usually makes at least one person puke, especially when the pilots make the blackhawk swing like a pendulum.

Try riding back to a ship anchored out in Alexandria Egypt's harbor with 40 drunk Sailors and Marines in a motor Whaleboat if you want to see people puke.  :)

I was in an H3 that ditched in the North Arabian Sea on our way back to the carrier after finishing- get this- a JAG investigation into a helo accident onboard a Spruance DD.

Nothing like getting drenched in spraying hydraulic fluid, having to jump into the open ocean and watching a helicopter roll over and sink in less than 20 seconds right after breakfast.

I love to fly, though. Just stay away from helicopters...

All Marine helicopters leak oil and that's ok with me. It's when it stops leaking oil is when I panic.

Helicopters have never scared me. Dad flew Cobras in the Army, and now flies for a hospital. Yes, I was the asshole betting the flight crew they couldn't get lower.

That's what I've always heard about Chinooks... if it ain't leaking, it's empty.

Flew in last night and during our landing the plane pulls up really hard and scared the poo out of everyone in the plane. People were crying and screaming. The pilot turns it around and apologizes an says that flight control put another plane to land at the same time and that he had to pull up to avoid it. My wife was scared shitless and the only thing I was thinking about my life insurance policy for my kids

    • Lol Atlanta looks to have lost their young edge rusher, has no 1st round pick, a complete mess at QB, a new coaching staff… And we swept them this year. Says what they think of us.
    • I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.
    • Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
