We needed the Bears to beat the Saints to increase our slim chance to make it into the playoffs, but.......that doesn't seem to be happening.

On the bright side, perhaps Ol' Pickles will get a chance to play tonight...

If the Falcons can't get em, never count out Tampa with the upset against the Saints. They seem to always play them close.

Would have loved for Chicago up win. Not surprised by this effort though. How would you react if your coach sold the team leader down the river saying the team had buyers remorse?

that's what was so maddeningly frustrating back in the mid-late 2000s

 

in years when like 8-8 or 9-7 would have at least locked up a wild card (if not the division like in 2007) we could usually only cobble together 7 wins.  bolstered of course by a run at the ass-end of the year when we were all but eliminated anyway.
