Falcons expected to fire Mike Smith

Falcons owner Arthur Blank has informed multiple parties that he plans on moving on from head coach Mike Smith at the end of the season, sources said, and it would take a shocking playoff run to alter that scenario. Blank has also told some confidants that, for now, he expects to retain general manager Thomas Dimitroff, though it could be revisited through the hiring process.

1. Wtf are the Panthers going to do? Mike Smith record > Rivera

2. Do you think the Falcons will still ball out knowing they're probably playing for a lame duck and it'll take a deep playoff run to keep Mike? If they lose today, and we win they'll be eliminated. Will they let up a little?

As much as I hate the Falcons, I've always thought Mike Smith was an excellent coach and a coach that players respect and would run through a wall for. It's not his fault Dimitroff can't put a good team together...

I would take Smith over Rivera in a heartbeat.

Caveat: if Rivera gets us in the playoffs, fug Mike Smith. Coach Rivera is the greatest coach of all time.

Watching hard knocks this year all I kept thinking was "dude this guy is such a pansy. I would never be motivated to do anything for him. I would just turn tomy team mates and say bro..is he serious right now?"

yeah , I didn't finish the first episode, all I could think about, was that this whole team is full of sh!t top to bottom.

He converted all 13 of his field goal tries with a 100% conversion rate that led all FBS kickers with at least 12 attempts. Fitzgerald was also perfect on his 14 extra points. He will compete with Matthew Wright for the Panthers’ kicking job in training camp. Harrison-Hunte went undrafted despite a strong showing at the Combine. He’s an older prospect who will turn 25 by the start of his rookie year, but he had just one season of sustained production at SMU after five years at Miami. Still, he earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2024 with 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks and will push for a roster spot in Carolina as an athletic interior disruptor.   more at the link https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/05/panthers-sign-19-undrafted-free-agents
