AP hasn't and Hardy isn't comparable to Rice. IF Hardy were to be found innocent before the playoffs end and we're still in it, then he'd have a case to make, but the process of getting back on the field would take very long. Only hope would be Super Bowl which we're not making, and we probably wouldn't play him on such a big stage. At this point I think we've essentially cut all ties with Hardy.

Thinking about this robs me of the joy of all else that's happening with this team. After playing in week 1 and only the accuser's cred damaged since, it's more maddening than can be put into words. While I hope not, it could literally, without TOO much of a stretch, cost us the Super Bowl.
