Yes, cause i'm going to my first ever playoff game! Before this one, 2005 Seattle game..I thought we had a good chance to make Super Bowl..

It's a different kind of excitement, tell ya that.. Kinda feel like we're here because we earned it, but don't think we did at the same time. Chip & a chair, said it before... Just saw a commercial for tha game, did not realize I am excited as I am....

This is the most excited I have ever been for a home playoff game. I was too young to understand the significance of 1996 and the home games in 2003 and last year were more expected given our record throughout the year.

In terms of overall games, this is probably the 3rd most excited I've ever been behind the 2003 NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl.

I am too scarred by the 2008 Cardinals game (which I think is unequivocally the most disappointing game in Panthers history) to look too far ahead, but it does seem like there is something a little magical about the season the likes which we haven't seen since 2003.

I will be rocking it down in 541 on Saturday come rain or shine, and I hope this is the start of something special.

Smith returned a punt for a TD when the game was already basically over. Can't remember if that was our only TD though

It was Smitty on a punt/kick off return. Drew ran with him into the end zone.

still the best playoff game I've ever watched in a bar solely for the fact it was me vs the bar.  Everyone was else for the Bears.

 

yell "fug Carolina" and "fug the Panthers" all you want....you still couldn't stop 89 when it mattered most.

I have a sense of dread, to be honest, of butterflies in the stomach.....but I have that for every game. 

 

Remember, remember, the 16th of January....it was the last time we won a playoff game, and it'll be nine years ago almost exactly to the day.

I'm almost positive we'll win. But ever since I've moved away and stopped going to games, my excitement level had dropped a lot. I don't even get nervous during games anymore. In fact, I fell asleep during the Falcons game, lol. Now ... if we make it past the Divisional round I may have to do some pacing.
