Posters will scoff at the idea of a 6'4, 4.3 speed, highly touted draft prospect, and was forced to play with Mark Sanchez, receiver getting snaps but had a raging hard on for a long haired, Hanson brother look a like, didnt even play division 1 football, cant field a punt practice squad player named Brenton Bersin. I am intrigued by Hill, but I am also intrigued by the fact that a player with that much going for him dropped from a second round draft pick to a practice squad player that stayed untouched on the PS for a long time.  Now think about the # of injuries that happened during the time he was on our PS. Nobody snatched him.  What is the deal?

It would seem, if he can't catch, that he could play some role on special teams.

A Ferrari with no engine is not as good as a retired mail truck that still runs.

Also a WR that can catch passes is more valuable than one who can't.

Welcome to the huddle.

That highlight video about him is zero impressive. I don't get the hype.

All he has to do is beat man coverage. Brown is not so hot either, but put one man on him and he's a threat. Unlike Cotchery who can be covered by a DE and shutdown all the way down the field. This offense needs more speed and Hill offers that. Word on Hill was that he didn't grasp our playbook all that well earlier in the season, and his hands are not so great, but he can get open. He's a threat.

Of course I am all in for a playmaker. Just didn't see anything impressive. However I would be more than happy to get surprised one day.

I'm not blow away by that video either. He looks to have the same yac ability as Olsen, which is to say next to none. Good height with 4.36 40 speed. Unlike Cotchery who I think I can outrun and quit on a route for no reason other than laziness.

Joe webb(a QB) vs stephen hill ( a WR) who's the better option to line up at WR??? Hmmmm...tough one

I haven't seen practice so I can't say for sure which one I would go with but from the outside looking in I would choose Webb. A speedy qb who knows the playbook and can catch>a wr who is speedier but can't grasp the football or the playbook
