Philly Brown update

At least he can stretch the field.  That's what we need at this point.  Not Joe fuging Webb.

Doesn't matter if he can't catch the ball. Fozzy can stretch the field to and I have a lot more faith in him catch the ball. IDK why this is even an issue. Even if he is active I'm 99% positive he won't see the field

Meh, Fozzy is a RB.  Hill is a WR with blazing speed, rather have Hill out there just for the threat.  If that makes sense.

At first, I was skeptical about Hill. I do not want WRs that cannot catch the ball.  But this game is different because we are not talking about a whole season with 20 drops, we are talking about the ability to make 1 catch that could change the game.  Heck, he would not even have to catch it to back the safeties up.

If the percent chance of Hill catching the pass is 60% if he is open, then they have to respect that.  If it is 40%, they can't put their nickel CB on him and hope for the best.  They have to roll a S over, at least that makes sense to me.

Another reason:  We may not be able to sustain 14-play drives vs. the Seattle D as we have in recent weeks.  We may need a couple big plays.  Stephen Hill would be the kind of player who can deliver the big play if they do not respect his speed.

No greater myth outside Lamont Bryant.

No myth. The guy actually started and has 4 tds. That's better than Bersin and Philly have on their resume. Not like it will be the first time they waited all season to bring a player of the bench and he produced.

Doesn't sound good...

WR Philly Brown says he thinks he could play vs. Seattle but says decision will be up to coaches. He participated in walk through today.

WR Philly Brown says he thinks he can play. Knows it will come down to coach's decision on Saturday.
