Byron Bell

Enough is Enough. He should be done here. Literally a slap in the face to other guys like Mike Remmer with talent who are are riding the bench because guys like Bell are a "great story" and get chance after chance. Dont even let him on the flight back please.

Mike Remmers did not have a good game. Sounds like you are scapegoating one guy because of deep seeded angst.

he played good and has since the final lineup was in place. all tackles get beat a play or two at least each game especially against those rushers.

He didn't play good, he just didn't play as bad as he usually does

He's garbage, and has no business as the starting LT for an NFL team

The problem with Bell is that, yes, he can sometimes play long stretches where he looks good in pass protection. But he is ALWAYS guaranteed to whiff on some blocks as badly as Ryan Lindley played QB. If you're going to get beat, at least get a goddamn hand on your man instead of getting the lineman equivalent of being posterized.

neither he or bersin should have been asked to take on the roles they did.

bersin is ok for an occassional third down guy.

bell is ok for nothing. not a starter. not a back up. not a roster spot.

I could not disagree more. Bell has a future in the NFL as a backup at least. Bersin isn't good at anything. If Bersin is on this team next year, it's an indictment of our WR corp. He can wiggle open on the other team's worst DB a few times a year but he offers nothing on special teams. He doesn't server a purpose.

What play are you talking about? I saw him give up two sacks. One Cliff Avril beat everyone off the snap, it was a great play by Avril. The other he respected Bruce Irvin's speed too much and got beat with the inside move. Cam had time to hit the crossing route but not the deeper one.
