How old is old?

i'm 29, i'll be 30 later this year. i'm reaching the point where the latest stuff the kids these days come up with annoys me. bae? bae can fuging fall off a cliff and die. and the other day i was eating lunch on campus at UNCC and these seniors were sitting there having conversations about how they use snapchat, and i realized when i was their age facebook was the primary platform used for connecting with peers on social media. poo's changed. having a kid doesn't help, either, nor realizing you've been working the same job at 40-80 hours a week for the past decade while all your friends are getting divorced.

but i'm not old. i'm back in the gym full time, eating right(ish) finally, and in a year i'll be finishing up my masters thesis and i can get a job and start my career teaching. then i can use my 30s to develop my career and buy my property and start building a 10k sqft mansion with map rooms and science labs and an observatory and massive library and communal satellite properties and adopt a dozen underprivileged local kids, get involved in the surrounding community, and change the world one shitty north carolina county at a time.

my 30s are going to absolutely kick ass.

When I have a beard, I look in mid to late 30s. When I'm cleaned shaved, I look 25.

I've read studies that a full beard generally adds 6-8 years to your appearance.

I'm 26...

Clean shaven I look like a 17 year old. Full beard I look early 30s. Clean shaven I ALWAYS get ID'd. Full beard I NEVER get ID'd.

I had a beard in college when I was 22. I got called Sir. all the time.

no beard for me, I look white but my moms family is Puerto Rican and Filipino so with all that island blood no beard for me :-(

No one in my moms family even tries to grow a facial hair of any kind. We just can't.

    • Lol Atlanta looks to have lost their young edge rusher, has no 1st round pick, a complete mess at QB, a new coaching staff… And we swept them this year. Says what they think of us.
    • I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.
    • Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
