Yeah come to think of it, the ideal situation would be for Rivera to hire an OC guru, which frees him to just promote one of his buddies to DC and focus on that side of the ball.

Im a fan of McDermott, I'm not a fan of his scheme at all. Rivera needs to take over the D, even if it means bringing in a 3-4(I know we don't have the players)

Yep.  They're lining up interviews right now I think for a few guys so if reports come out, it's basically leaks to their interview requests/set-ups.  

 

Bias aside, I actually like the fit for them.

Those that think McDermott is a puppet need to remember McDermott is the one calling the defensive plays. His an excellent DC and if we lose him it will set our defense back some.
