John Fox and Denver parting ways

It's Elway's job to build a SB champion.  The Broncos have been in "SB win or bust" mode for three years now.     Fox couldn't get it done...and Elway seems to be of the mind that "All blame falls on the head coach".       He will start over,  and I think the Broncos will be a winner again next year....and the year after.

If you take away the first season where he inherited a 1-15 team and the last season when the owner raped him and tanked the entire team his record at Carolina was 64-48, with a super bowl and two championship game appearances and 3 division titles in 7 seasons. Thats with Rodney Peete, Jake Delhomme, David Carr, Testeverde, Matt Moore, and Jimmy Clausen. Foxxy never got enough credit here

They have quite an impressive list of free agents and a 39 year old QB who will probably retire with Brock Osweiler backing him up. They will probably be a lot worse off next year.

Even better, take away all the games he lost and he was 73-0. Why did we ever fire this guy.
