I think that's a pretty big complemint to Dave G and our team that four of our rookies were considered worth drafting in the first after this season. You could make a great case that one could be a second rounder.

 

 

This isn't any perfect meter for the future or anything, but it's nice to see that our talented rookies are noticed.

Was just coming to post this... certainly high praise for DG that our late round draft choices are thought of so highly.

so in essence gettleman drafted three players in different parts of the draft that had essentially first round value.  not bad.

 

then there's turner and norwell

That's insane. This panthers class could rank as one of the best drafts in history. It could be argued that Trai Turner could have been the Panthers pick instead of Matthews but this is pretty incredible.

Norwell and Turner should as well been on there too.

 

I think these guys are probably outside of the first but definitely are higher than where they were chosen (or not chosen in Norwell's case).  Adarius Glanton is another UDFA pickup that produced and probably should have been drafted.  We have hit on these guys two years in a row.  White, Glanton, Norwell, Philly Brown and to a lesser extent Lester.  The talent value we are getting is quite impressive.
