No other professional sport in the country currently can compare to the intense fan experience the NFL brings to people. MLB, NBA, PGA.... all take a backseat to football. Take a look at these pictures and tell me you don't remember feeling the same thing this season.

If you look close at 99% of Seahawk fans, the gear they are wearing looks brand spanking new.

 

 

Outside of a Panther victory, the Seahawks losing is the next best thing.

They look a little more diehard than that. For them to show that kind of emotion shows they actually know what had just happened and didn't have to have someone explain it to them. In a nutshell, their reaction shows an emotional investment in the team, unlike the two people sitting on either side of the Patriot fan.

I can't imagine the feeling the Seahawks fans had with that interception. It had to be a lot worse than the feeling when Kasay muffed our kickoff and you knew Brady was going to win it for the Patriots. They had that game in the bag and their coach and QB threw it away on them. They got too cute and the Patriots finally got their big break that they always seem to get.

I met fans of SEA last night who told me they tuned in to SEA after they beat GB. They were devastated with the loss in ways I could not comprehend. Then again, I was jumping all over the place after that INT like I was a Pats fan. So I don't think bandwagon fans are emotionless.
