Michael Oher was scheduled to make $4 million in 2015. I think everyone saw this move coming after his performance in 2014

PFF notes he's gotten worse every year since his rookie season, but beggars can't be choosers...

Rotoworld:

One of the worst free-agent signings of 2014 will now get another bite at the apple. The four-year, $20 million deal Oher signed last March was viewed as a ludicrous overpay before the ink even dried, and he proved the doubters wrong by going out and having a(nother) dreadful season.

Due no guaranteed money for 2015, Oher was slated to make $4 million. His release was an absolute no-brainer for the worst team in football. Oher is still only 29 (in May), but has been ineffective his entire career. He'll search for work as someone's No. 4 tackle.

...

He graded out negatively in both the run and pass game, finishing as a bottom-five tackle by Pro Football Focus.

...

The Titans paid Oher $6M for this season and proceeded to watch him get tossed around like a rag doll. The "Blind Side" has been a major liability in both the run and pass game for nearly five years now.

sounds promising

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
