As much as I'd like to make fun of the Eagles for this, it does seem like a bit of a stretch. It just seems like another case of people trying to find things to be "offended" about. The worst thing in all of this is that Cooper is in the damn thing to begin with.

A friend of mine that I mentioned this story to asked that question.

What if somebody involved in the calendar planning did this intentionally just to be a jerk?

Seems unlikely to me honestly, but I'll admit it's possible.

Does anyone actually care about black history month?  Why confine the learning of historical achievements of anyone to one month?

 

I should be able to learn about George Washington in February and George Washington Carver in June.

 

And before anyone asks, there is another month dedicated to a race.  Hispanic heritage month.  But its not even a month, its the latter half of September until halfway through October.  I don't understand the world.

I think these 'National Month' things stopped meaning much of anything when each month ended having like 14 things we were supposed to be cherishing or whatever

How am I supposed to honor National Pie Month and National Fitness month when they are both in the same 30 day span.
