on acid and a full hose of people who know the story is the best experience ever in a theater....but yeah, without that it's not very good.

Lots of stuff listed in this thread I went into with such low expectations that its hard to consider them "bad".

 

My top 3 in the bad category are:

I must have terrible taste, and it's been a decent amount of years, but I generally remember liking RV.

Same here...I remember thinking it was better than I thought it would be. Watched it again a couple months ago when it was on TV.

8mm was God awful, but I guess I shouldn't have expected much from Nic Cage.  When my wife and I were dating she picked some Christmas movie one night with Danny Divito, and the best looking lady from Sex in the City.  I remember wanting to go see something else, but it was her turn to pick.  She fell asleep about 45 minutes in, and I got stuck watching the whole craptastic thing.

I sat through "Dreamers" at the indie theater near Laurel ave trying to get laid. I suffered through the movie ok but when the 2 girls my buddy and I went with wanted to sit in the theater and discuss what they learned from the movie I was done.
