Pretty much nothing. I think we might even lose a bit of cap room. We've got about $6.6 million in dead money left on his contract. Us cutting him is not to save money, it is to open up a roster spot for someone who can produce better.

wait.  you guys been calling for his head for years and then it happens and your all like aww poor deangelo?  Deangelo was a great player for carolina, but this has been long over due.  I'm thankful for what he gave this team but I am not sad to see him cut.  Actually, I am more excited about the future of this team.
