Such a cancer Hardy is for showing up to a team mates funeral when no one else did.

No one said Hardy was a cancer

No one said he is even a bad guy

All that is said he isnt the type player you can invest a huge portion of your cap in....he makes poor decisions.

I just saw the interview. JR spoke with him and apologized weeks after the fact. The Panthers also instuted a policy on how to deal with the death of loves ones of employes. He didn't sound as bitter as you would think reading these 22 pages of this topic.

But D-Wil is cancer

HAIL GETTLEMAN

BURN THE TRAITOR

Never let facts get in the way of a good debate.

The news outlet pitched the story that the Panthers didn't acknowledge his mom's passing and no one showed at the funeral.

So people watched

And bascially what they sold wasn't what Williams ended up saying. Which is basically how it works.

All in all....Panthers did reach out, one even attended the funeral. Williams just wanted more

I expected it to be really bad. And all this mud was going to be slung everywhere....

That wasn't really that bad at all....

Then they add in that because the Panthers felt they dropped the ball they put a policy in place for future family members deaths (Such as CJ's grandmother) and how they should handle them.

Deangleo should look at the fact that he got the team and the league to put a spot light on breast cancer and the team didn't react the way he wanted when she passed, however they realized their mistake and put in rules to correct it because of him. Basically he was the catalyst behind two positive changes and this reaction does come across as petty.

I mean I get where he is coming from in a way.

My mother died last year and I'm 26 years old. I am a GM of s retailer and my employees since their condolences and so did my boss. I had some close co workers come to the funeral but my boss didnt come. I didnt expect her to, nor would I expect my employer to really do much. Sure my co workers and close people but the employer? Nah

    • He can be our post injury Delhomme in 2008. I am fine with Hubbard and Dowdle being our Willliams and Stewart.    Canales has some eating to do and hair to grow if he’s going to be Jeff Davidson tho.
    • This season was about continuing to dig ourselves out of the crater Fitterer (and by extension Young with the three first round picks we traded for him) buried us in. Tepper is determined to make Bryce happen, so we're forced to play him at QB and adjust around his obvious inadequacies.
    • Has nothing to do with the yards per carry, like at all. It's that 17 of his 25 passes were less than 10 yards downfield, against the worst pass defense in the league.  It's another game where Bryce's passing attempts were mostly dink and dunk type of passes. I wasn't asking us to throw it more yesterday, hell, if anything, you could make an argument that with how we were running it, we should have thrown it less than 25 times anyways.  It's that we still threw it 25 times but only had 8 of them where the ball was thrown 10+ yards downfield. Our schedule takes a dramatic shift after this week, even next week against the Jets, they have a decent defense for a team that hasn't won a game yet.  This was a great opportunity to allow Bryce to throw the ball downfield more against the worst pass defense in the league, hence I'd just have liked to see more than 8 of 25 passes be thrown further than 10 yards downfield. IF we were going to throw it 25 times against Dallas, I'd have liked to see a good 12-15 of them be further than 10 yards downfield, let Bryce work on his weakness against the worst pass defense in the league, not throw more dink and dunk passes per usual.
