Local authorities might want to close the Golden Gate Bridge for a day or so (or at least bar 49er fans from it).

oh hell no....open that baby wideopen....offer discount transportation to the bridge...feed the sharks baby....feed the sharks!!!

The Golden Gate would be a majestic way to go out. If you really want to torture them make them dive off the old eastern span of the Bay Bridge (Oakland side of treasure island), that's the really crappy way to go out.

have you ever been to a 9'ers game in San Fran?

 

you can't go anywhere without being in a group of 5 or 6 for safety sakes

 

couple years back there was a group of 3 Seahawk fans, women...who were cornered and threatened at knife point by a couple 9er dudes as they were trying to leave the stadium to get to their car.

 

 

Open that bridge as open as possible...I'll help push

I've gone to every Panthers game in SF since I think maybe 1997-98, except the final one a couple years back because of prior commitments.

The past few years you seriously can't piss at the urinal without feeling like you'll get stabbed. Don't even try to get money out of an atm machine on the concourse.

Raiders fans talk a lot of poo but it's mostly harmless and empty threats. 49er fans will actually try to attack you in the parking lot. It was a scary place to watch a game.

And I've been to prison, so that should shed some light on how bad it was.

      There's only two paths to that happening. First is that Theilen misses a significant chunk of the season, the other is that XL and Coker both either flop or have injuries themselves. I love the pickup of Renfrow as I think he'll be great in the locker/film room for all the young guys while giving us a natural replacement of Thielen in the WR room next year to be the wiley old vet in the room. But he has almost no path to getting snaps this year unless the guys ahead of him have injuries or just suck.  Assuming he makes he squad, he's more likely to be inactive more often than he's active on game days.   And he's not the best route runner on the team, that's still Thielen, who even at this point in his career is still one of the better route runners in the league.

      I'll go ahead and say it because the average poster is too scared to say it.  Hunter Renfrow is the best route runner on the team.  He will catch more balls than a couple of those dudes added together.  It's Short King season!   Get on the wagon while there are still seats available!

      But that's the WR4 this year, we only have one year left of Thielen. If Coker has injury issues and/or regresses and shows why he went undrafted, unless Horn ends up REALLY living up to the minicamp hype, we'd actually end up in need of another good WR option next offseason again. I love the potential of T-Mac, XL, Coker, Horn as our 1-4 next year and into the future. And while I of course have a million percent belief that T-Mac is going to be that guy for us, it's still a big year for the rest of the WR room to prove we're set at the position for the foreseeable future once Thielen is gone after the season.
