Well you keep that mindstate and see how much it helps...

People keep clowning the Niners and Colts for surrounding their qbs with talent, saying, "well look how well it worked for them."

Yeah, let's do. How many championship games have we played in the last three years? How many have they?

Exactly.

The reason our ass got booted out of the playoffs the last two seasons was because they signed and drafted offensive talent, while we signed and drafted "young hungry guys who are eager to start," who usually lacked talent.

The reason we lost to San Francisco and Seattle was because we had no offense. There was no one to spread the field. We have no speed or separation. They did.

Young, hungry guys that come dirt cheap may pan out for you 1 out of 100 times, but 99 times their dropping passes and muffing punts.

The Colts and 49ers have as many super bowl wins as we have had since we have drafted Cam. The colts keep throwing poo against the wall for offense to see if it sticks, yet can't get past having an awful defense. The 49ers have literally imploded this year. They have a HC who played in Salisbury NC, have thrown multiple draft picks at WR (who aren't there any more) and lost three RB's this past year they have drafted (Gore, and the kid from SC and Oregon). Let's watch their sustained success the next few years

Hurney poo in the salad bowl

Bruh Bruh Bruh  Hurney did put us in Cap Mess for while but where almost out of it now ( 90%) , you can't argue with the fact that Players Hurney Drafted or got FA is the core of the team besides Star & KK.

Gentleman can't  use the cap excuse anymore, especially when the Cap rise each year & we still haven't extend the contract of the player where trying to save the money for. He has drafted pretty darn good so far on the Defense but know its time to see it on the Offense. He has 100 % ownership just like Ron Rivera has had.

Name ONE draft where Hurney produced 5 starters. Do it.

But Gettleman has "destroyed this team".

Right.

His two drafts here has produced Star, KK, Klein, KB, Trai, Tre, Bene...plus Kony and a few undrafted guys who are starting.

In two drafts he has brought in that many impact players. Who are on much cheaper contracts than all these free agents you guys want.

Hell it's easier to start on a crap roster

Notice what I said earlier. He isn't going to come in (although that would be nice) and light up and have 1,000+ yards and 10+ TDs and the triple crown. IF we sign him, he would be good depth in ST that can do both I sides, block well in the WR role (which KB, Brown, and Bersin all suck ass at doing at a consistent level) he can play the slot and be a red zone target if need be. He would be an upgrade easily of Cotch and Bersin (both of which probably would get paid more combined than he would by himself) for the same role.

PB... WE NEED SPEED. WE NEED A GUY THAT COULD COME IN AND HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO DO JUST THAT - 1,000 YARDS AND 10 TDS.

WE ALREADY HAVE A WR CORPS FULL OF BOYKINS. HE IS REDUNDANT.

PEOPLE ARE REACTING SO STRONGLY FOR THAT REASON, AND THAT HE MOST LIKELY IS NOT ON ANYONE ELSE'S RADAR RIGHT NOW, AND YET, WE'RE BRINGING HIM IN ON THE FIRST DAY OF FA. LOL. THAT IS LAUGHABLE.

NO ONE WAS EXPECTING US TO PULL OFF A TRADE FOR CALVIN JOHNSON, BUT WHEN THERE ARE GUYS LIKE MOORE, BRITT, STEVIE, ETC. OUT THERE, WE SHOULD BE HEARING REPORTS OF INTEREST IN THEM, NOT THIS GUY. HE WILL BE THERE IN MAY.
