Boykin to Visit per Rapoport

Next year if we have 50 million in cap space, we'll have to spend it to get to the minimum level

Idk what I'd think if we just frontload Luke and Cam's contracts...so the cap space is smaller and the minimal level of spending is easier to reach............with just signing a few bottom tier players for the vet min,  and a few lower-mid tier players for around $4M-$5M each.

PB... WE NEED SPEED. WE NEED A GUY THAT COULD COME IN AND HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO DO JUST THAT - 1,000 YARDS AND 10 TDS.

WE ALREADY HAVE A WR CORPS FULL OF BOYKINS. HE IS REDUNDANT.

PEOPLE ARE REACTING SO STRONGLY FOR THAT REASON, AND THAT HE MOST LIKELY IS NOT ON ANYONE ELSE'S RADAR RIGHT NOW, AND YET, WE'RE BRINGING HIM IN ON THE FIRST DAY OF FA. LOL. THAT IS LAUGHABLE.

NO ONE WAS EXPECTING US TO PULL OFF A TRADE FOR CALVIN JOHNSON, BUT WHEN THERE ARE GUYS LIKE MOORE, BRITT, STEVIE, ETC. OUT THERE, WE SHOULD BE HEARING REPORTS OF INTEREST IN THEM, NOT THIS GUY. HE WILL BE THERE IN MAY.

PDiddy this is one of those things that I will just disagrre with you on in this thread. We lost out on Cobb and Smith who average $8-$10 mill a year. We have a 1,000 yard receiver in KB and Olsen. We just made Olsen one of our highest paid weapons on the team. They view him probably as our second option like it or not. How many teams have 2-3 1,000 receivers on a team. Boykin hasn't even signed yet but we have a 20+ page thread of people freaking out about a guy we showed interest in.

Sure he is the same mold of Cotch, but he is much younger, he is more skilled than Bersin and would be an upgrade of our 4th WR maybe even 3rd. You'd rather keep Webb/Bersin/Hill/Mucas than this guy? Its an upgrade. If you upgrade a position at any level its always a plus. People we splooging in their pants for Stephen Hill last year and teams didnt even make a claim off of our practice squad for him yet Boykin stayed on a roster in GB that is deep at WR. That to me speaks volumes compared to the depth we have.

We wont sign another big name WR in FA as long as we have Olsen on our roster

Then we better draft one.. Gettlemen said he was going to give Cam more weapons this off-season instead of leaving him high and dry like last season. . We will see what he does. .

Cam is not resigning hear, if he was deal would have already been done. Everyone else his draft year has their deals.

Really? Not to mention the report came out like a week ago that CAM and the Panthers were in a wait and see approach, as CAM was content to let the market set itself with Luck and RW. Well since you didn't reply to my other post pointing out your silliness. Maybe this one...

Players behind Cam in his draft...

#2 - Von Miller - rookie deal.

#3 - Marcell Dareus - rookie deal

#4 - AJ Green - rookie deal

#5 - Patrick Peterson - Signed new deal before 2014 season

#6 - Julio Jones - rookie deal

#7 - Aldon Smith - Restructured to a 1 year deal, because he's got his issues

# 8 - Jake Locker - Retired today

# 9 - Tyron Smith - Signed, because Dallas needed cap space (that mythical thing again)

#10 - Blane Gabbert - Lol

Now if you mean guys from his class, like Dalton and Kaep? Yes, but they also weren't afforded the luxury of being a 1st round pick and the option year added into their contracts like these Top 10 picks. If you want to cry (#2 WR is the only thing we may agree on)...at least find something credible to cry about.
