Rumor: Panthers, Titans, and Eagles Contact Michael Crabtree

I'll respond to your question with one of mine own. What assets do you see in moore's game that matchup favorably in comparison to Crabtree. Does he have the same great body control Crabtree does? What about his breaks? Do you feel those outweigh Crabtree's? Please, elaborate on his skillset some.

In fact, if you can provide one accurate thing about denarius Moore's game other than "herp derp HE RUN FAST REEL FAST" I promise not to irrevocably place you in the huddle's poo tier poster category with other posters like kspan and carolinarolls

Moore is a receiver who can take the top off of defenses, as we all know, but he offers more. He has sticky hands when it comes to making acrobatic Beckham-like catches. His career (and numbers) have really been hurt by inconsistent quarterback play. He runs nice routes under the safeties and linebackers and is not afraid to get hit. He can serve in a Percy Harvin role (yet unlike Harvin he can be a receiving threat instead of a utility player) by running reverses, smoke routes, etc. He can work on his route tree, but he is only 26 and we have Ricky Proehl.

He was Oakland's number one target for three weeks until he had a Lafell-like drop in the end zone that cost them the game. The coaching staff sent him down the ladder after that. However, don't get discouraged, because this guy doesn't usually have Lafell syndrome.

The reason I'm high on this guy is because I watch a lot of Raiders games with my dad (Cowboys fan) and his best friend (Raiders fan). He impresses me a lot more than Cotchery, and fits into a role better than Crabtree. Like I said, I'm not against Crabtree, but Denarius is the type of player we need. He is explosive and constantly gets yac (which the Panthers lack.)

2014 Yards per Reception

Career low 10.3

Pass

So you are just going to absolve Kaepernick of any blame?

Not only did he regress this year I remember some crazy Stat about him not throwing a td pass in the 2nd half of games this entire season.

    • Dave in a presser gassed up Anthony Tyus III and dying to see him on the field.  I mean 3 is all that needed right, and Dan loves etienne. He's one year filling in his body. If brooks is back, toss in chubba, thats 3.
    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
