Personally I've got us at $11.27m with 68 players on the roster after the Teddy Williams signing. About $4.63m of that is going to rookies, of course that's before any comp. picks are announced, and you know we'll bring in several undrafted guys.

This is only a surprise to people that haven't been paying attention. If Thomas and CJ restructure there will be more room. If they don't, there won't be. Deangelo's cap savings should not fully hit the books until June but we don't know if Newton considered that.

It's an idiosyncrasy of Gettlemens that came out of one of his press conferences in which he uttered the words bup bup bup in the middle of a sentence. I can't remember exactly what he was talking about but it caught on with some of us.
