Dolphins WR Mike Wallace has been on the phone with Minnesota Vikings for the last hour.

This is just a speculative idea, but you would have to think the Raiders would be interested in at least discussing trade for Wallace given that they’ve stuck out on a number of skill players in free agency and have enough cap space that his contract wouldn’t be as much of an issue for them. After all, they have to spend a large portion of their cap this year and they are running out of worthy players to spend it on.

 

Wallace, 28, signed a five-year, $60 million contract that included $30 million guaranteed with Miami back in 2013, so it clearly disappointing that this is something being talked about just a few years into this agreement.

 

According to OverTheCap.com, trading Wallace outright would free up $5.5 million in cap space next year, but would also create $6.6 million in dead money.

 

This season, Wallace caught 67 passses for 862 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns over the course of 16 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 53 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.

Wallace has texted his teammates saying that he has been on phone with Vikings GM Rick Spielman and HC Mike Zimmer, and is likely headed to the Vikings.

Well maybe i should just post ever trade on main post then , why even have a Fa thread , and it seems as you are getting sensitive for me getting  sensitive as you put it .

 

i don't care if you do that, i actually would find it humorous if you posted a new thread on the main forum for every free agent signing, trade, and rumor.

 

the free agent thread is good to read updated rumors and deals that are happening, almost impossible to have a conversation in that thread because it is constantly getting updated and people would be talking about multiple different topics. i see no reason why it can't be posted in there and have conversation about it in another thread. again in no way am i being sensitive, i just find it funny that it seems like you are getting offended people are posting about stories that you are posting in the free agency thread.
