Twitter War Marc James vs Chris Kro[E]ger. .

WOW!!

Marc with a C James is a doosh. Truth be told, I actually didn't mind him when he was in Charlotte. I liked his bravado more than most. However, his arrogance became unbearable when he left for Atlanta. He has taken every chance to belittle Charlotte, Cam Newton and the Panthers since he has gotten there. That is his prerogative, but he thinks he is more important than he actually is. He thinks he is some hot shot because he is in a top 10 radio market when no one here gives a poo. Being an avid listener of WFNZ I like Kroeger 10x more than Marc James or anyone who has hosted in that time slot, including Marc Packer. Kroeger is probably the most talented radio talent ive heard on that station, dude is well informed and articulate as hell. Marc is a wanna be Howard Stern, with not even half the talent of Kroegs.

Agreed...in the short time that Kroeger has been here, he is already the best ever on the station. As Zod mentioned, he probably won't be here for long because he really is that good.

Regular WFNZ listener. Kroeger is the best host the station has had in years. I could not stand Marc James. Was embarrassed having him represent Charlotte sports talk radio.

I know some people just hate sports talk radio but if you have any interest at all give Kroegers show a listen. He's got a great radio voice, love the guest co-host cause you get different perspective daily. Great time killing show to put on in the background. Kroeger is a true Charlotte sports fan. Unfortunately I agree with Zod and I don't think we'll have him very long. Some radio or TV station will scoop him up.

Why would someone leave, especially if they are from here, when there are 15 million people in the Carolinas and 7+ million within 100 miles of CLT? That's often missed when discussing the Charlotte "metro" which only lists 2+ million people.

Kroeger stepped in and instantly erased any love that the town had for Marc James.  Granted, it's not hard considering James is a big bag of douche.  All James would talk about was The U, and his supposed popularity out and about in Charlotte.  Not many were sad to see him go.

Kroeger has a passion for this town and delivers insight that balances fandom and factual, neutral knowledge.  Nobody at WFNZ was talking much about Hornets/Bobcats, but Kroeggs made sure to talk about things pertinent to the area, instead of general blah blah blah.

F Marc James
