This stuff right here is why I think Hardy is going to be a very good pro. The guy loves the game and will out work guys that are physically more gifted.

Hardy didn't get any BCS scholarship offers despite being a standout quarterback at West Craven High School in Vanceboro, N.C. East Carolina offered him the chance to walk on and he spent a year as a redshirt getting stronger in the weight room and working on the scout team. His ability to make plays was undeniable. The following spring he received a scholarship as a reward for the progress he made. Hardy, who doesn't say much and shuns attention, was thrilled that his parents wouldn't have to worry about paying for his education.

I thought he had decent speed but 4.4 flat might have helped his stock just a wee bit and out of reach for the Panthers

According to Voth, in that article and tweets, most scouts will ad a tenth of a second due to it being on turf.  That would put him back closer to his combine time.  Tape will tell the real story though.

His game is pretty good on tape. I still stand he is the most underrated WR in this year's draft. 4.5 sounds about right but who can tell a difference between 4.4 and 4.5

He's this year's OBJ, a poor man's OBJ but still. I would be surprised if he's taken in the late second early third.

Outside the first round prospects, Hardy is definitely in the group of WR I'm interested in. 

 

I like the fit Greene, Agholor, Hardy, Diggs, & Montgomery could give us at different picks. (2-5)

Just the opposite. Hardy is one of the most underrated guy out there. Frankly he deserves the hype. ECU fans are excited about him because they have watched him as a receiver and a returner. He might run the best routes of anyone in college. Anyone. He makes incredible grabs in the seams and can stretch the field. Best of all if he gets one of his mitts on the ball he catches it.

Once he learns how to get off the line on press coverage, he will be a force wherever he goes. And that is not hype.....
