People are stupid.

Clearly we chose Boykin over Jennings.

And thus...

Well no Jennings thanks gettleman

Welp the Jennings idea was fun while it lasted

So I wonder what team Gettleman advised Jennings he would be a fit for. Dave Gettleman; Carolina Panthers GM/veteran WR adviser

Tip my hat to ya, JD.  you did a better job predicting what they'd say than I did.

And...

Bye Jennings

...one more for good measure.

Eh, that's sad.

What is sad about giving a guy a shot to play receiver on a team that desperately needs a solid 2. IMO both sides equally need each other which is a good business agreement. Or was you expecting dez bryant or and older version of him like greg jennings? Were signin FAs at positions of need.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
