Best Beer You've Ever Drank

A couple that I tried long ago and fell in love with and still like till this day are:

Highland Gaelic

Sweetwater 420

I really think this BP Grapefruit Sculpin is my new favorite even if I have never tried it though.

Love 420 and most Sweetwater offerings.

They have Grapefruit Sculpin at Grapevine in Ft Mill and Frugal McDougals.

I'm going to have to think on this and do it march madness bracket style based on beer category. This is tough.

Another thought, why don't we have a bracket going? It's 20 weeks until the season. 40 beers that are nationally available. We have a poll that's open all week so everyone can get a chance to try them both. I'll set it up if there's any interest

Okay, wow. Best beer I ever drank is a beer I don't even like that much.

Bud Light.

A little back story, I was in England for 10 days, and every beer was heavy as poo and room temperature. If I was just going to have one or two they would have been fine, but I like to drink 12+ and I couldn't find a beer that didn't leave me bloated as hell.

I mainly stuck with Stella and Kronenburg 1664.

We were at some tourist attraction about the history of London. We get to the end and at the exit there of course is a little pub, and low and behold they had Bud Light. Of course I ordered one and it was ice freaking cold.

I am not a big fan of dark or otherwise heavy beer, so to get an ice cold light beer after 8 days heavier warm beer... it tasted fugging amazing. I literally drank it in about 1 minute.

I would have just sat my ass down right there and pounded about 10 of em, but once I ordered another my companions were getting pissed because we had other places to go.

Anyway, I am not a huge fan of Bud Light. But that day it was the best beer I had ever had.

Not necessarily favorites, but here's a few from my beer fridge.

So for Christmas 2013 my wife got me a membership to a beer of the month club (which is funny since she didn't grow up in the states she had just watched Christmas Vacation for the first time and was freaking out about giving "Of the Month Club" as a gift LOL) anywho... a good number of those beers were sent to me over the course of the year.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
