Would have preferred a bit later. Guys are still fresh at week 5.

Toughest 4 game stretch right after the bye.

I like it, hopefully we're healthy and ready to go for those 4 games after.

Coming off a bye and heading into Seattle screams disaster though

Part of me doesn't mind it because it's before the worst stretch of the schedule (SEA, Eagles, Colts, Packers), but would have preferred it later.

At least it's before our cross-country trip to Seattle to face our toughest opponent of the year. Will be good for the rookies we draft to have that week off early, too, to give them a break. They won't be used to working out from draft-time all the way to February.

I'd like it later but we get kind of a mini bye after the Dallas Thursday game which will hopefully help us get ready for the last five games.

Of course Seattle's gotta be scheduled for that annual dreadful Panthers bye week hangover. Way to fug us over, NFL. Did Russell Wilson make this schedule?

I think having it before Seattle is key. Getting players ready for that trip across the US to play in that loud ass stadium is going to be pivotal. That being said, it being before Seattle also scares the living poo out of me. Rivera is notorious for being... just fuging awful after a bye. Seattle could embarrass us.
