Week 5 Bye Week

The way it's split with 4 cupcakes followed by a bye followed by 4 potential beasts, it'll be like having another preseason the first month of the season with a week off before the REAL season starts.

I had the Seattle game pegged as a loss anyway. Might as well have that be our annual post-bye loss and not a team we need to beat like the Redskins or Titans.

Not mad about it at all. Wish it was later, but a great chance of going into it at 4-0. Plus, we get extra rest for an insane four-game stretch.  The Turkey Day game helps a lot too as others have pointed out.

Before the Seattle game and during the Bye week, I'd be cool with Rivera not even practicing. Just showing the last few Seattle games on loop.

Of course Seattle's gotta be scheduled for that annual dreadful Panthers bye week hangover. Way to fug us over, NFL. Did Russell Wilson make this schedule?

 

To most NFL teams having a bye the week before a game increases win % by about 7%.  I dont know if he made the schedule or not, but Russell Wilson didn't hire our idiot coach.

Seattle is hopeless anyway, who cares if we get them after a bye. At this point i would be completely cool with us treating Seattle as a pre season game, if we lost to them 4 times in a row, its a lost cause

No reason we shouldn't be realistically going into the bye week at 4-0.  It will be good to have two weeks rest before the Seattle game.  

 

That @seattle, Eagles, Colts, Packers stretch is gonna be rough.  

 

However, this schedule is perfect.  It honestly feels like someone did us a favor.

We all know Rivera's record after bye weeks, so I'm fine getting it out of the way.

I'm okay with it, plus the prebye schedule is pretty lax.

I've debunked the Rivera bye week myth last year to my satisfaction. You always want your bye before your toughest game, so it works out perfect we have it before SEA. I'm looking forward to Vengence.

Also our bye weeks work out perfect because we have the bye and the mini-bye at the 1/3 and 2/3 marks which is awesome (the mini-bye being the 10-day break after DAL)

Seriously, four games consist of all losing teams from last year, two of which we get in Charlotte. You really think its acceptable to be below .500 at the bye under that scenario?
